This is a quick article covering how much does la weight loss cost, and if it is really worth it.
The LA weight loss scheme is one of the more expensive programs out there – it is so expensive as they give you a personalized weight loss program. It is not like going to a weight watchers meeting and using their systems to monitor your calories, or using their point based systems to eat a certain amount of calories per day and lose weight.
This type of program can be effective, but it is not uniquely tailored, so what works for one person will not necessarily work for everyone.
This is why the la weight loss program is so expensive – when you join they give you a personal trainer who will sit down and consult with you for quite a long time about your weight loss history. They will ask you about:
- Any medical problems you have which may need to be considered.
- Any types of exercise you particularly enjoy, or that you are used to.
- Any types of exercise you find especially difficult, or that you find boring.
- Your current eating habits
- Your current average daily / weekly calorie intake
- Any allergies you have to certain food types
- Food types you don’t like or really won’t be able to eat
- Your weight gain / weight loss history – what has worked for you, and what hasn’t
- Problem areas – what has caused you to slip off your previous weight loss programs
This is an extra service that you don’t get with most weight loss programs, and you certianly don’t get when you read a diet book, or join a gym.
They then take this information and design a tailored weight loss program for you – in fact an entire lifestyle, the eating, and exercise routines.
This all sounds amazing, but there have been problems with the la weight loss program – basically if you get a good centre and a good coach then you stand a much higher chance of losing weight – they are run by real people, and some are better than others, some have more commitment and more knowledge, and there are people who have not been happy with their treatment at these centres – so if you are going to try it make sure you research your local centre first and get recommendations about specific coaches there first.
It is hard to answer the question how much does la weight loss cost as the price varies between centre to centre, and on how intensive your program will be and how often you will visit – but it is always more than a gym membership, and has a joining fee and a monthly recurring fee thereafter – to find out exact prices you do need to call your local centre as prices change all the time.
