Reasons To Detox Your Body

Once you have taken the hard decision that you want to be healthier it is then time to work out how.

In my personal opinion the very next step you should look at taking is detoxing your digestive system. This is done in many ways but all for the same reasons which I will describe below.

The first and main reason for detoxing is to remove the harmful toxins that block up your digestive tract causing it to work inefficiently.

The second is to maintain a healthy digestive system ensuring your system is working as efficiently as possible.

The third reason is assist the diet and increase the speed at which the diet will help you lose weight.

Modern life and social pressures have slowly erroded our ability to make a freshly cooked meal, this has lead to an increase in teh toxins we take into our bodies every day. These toxins block our digestive tracts up as they are extremmly difficult to break down at best.

Not all detox programs require you to only drink water or green teas though they are the best things to drink fror your health.

Once you’ve completed detoxing your system you will notice several things have changed.

You should have more energy, sleep better, feel less bloated and have a faster metabolium all these are signs of being healthier.

Annual detox should be done in order to maintain a healthy and efficient digestive system even when you don’t need to lose weight. The reason being by keeping your system healthy it is easier for it to deal with any foods you eat. Toxins are always building up inside us and without ever being removed our system grinds to a halt causing fat buildups.

Higher fibre intake and less toxin containing drinks like water, squashes or fruit juices are the best things as the body can readily cope with them. Flushing the system through is used push all these toxins out.

Mever believe you can fully detox in a day or two remember unless you have done regular detoxes in the past these toxins have taken years to build up, it is like fat it takes years to get there don’t expect it to disappear overnight.

In the quest for weight loss after detoxing I would put the next most important thing to be setting goals and milestones, these will be used to keep you focused through the plateaus your bound to hit from time to time.

Remember the weight took months if not years to get there so be realistic in setting your goals. Your goals can take many forms in an ideal weight or a particular dress size anything that you feel is possible.

Then it is actually choosing the right diet plan for you and your dialy schedule. Follow the diet guidelines then it won’t belong before you find the new healthier and slimmer you.
