Denial somehow creeps in and convinces us that we could go back to eating the way we did before the diet and deters us from keeping the weight off for the long term.

2.Make a list of all the things you eat for a week and then check the list for bad foods. For most people these are usually bad fats, sugars and bad carbs like starches. Start with eliminating those, even if it’s just one by one. Sugar is usually the biggest issue with weight gain so start with that. Replace sugar snacks with healthier ones, like fruit and vegetables.

7.Listen to your body and stop eating because of boredom, emotions or other reasons and not for hunger.

8.Drink a big glass of water if you are hungry between meals, usually thirst disguises itself as hunger.
